TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
I have yet to hear anyone tell me that they are too good and don’t want to improve. The fact is everyone wants to get better but generally go about it incorrectly. My teaching philosophy has a proven track record of success which consists of the following steps.
STEP 1
Initial Interview
This is the part in which we get to know each other and discuss goals and aspirations. What is it that you would like to accomplish---better ball striking, a longer drive, fewer 3 putts? Open communication during the initial interview is crucial in shaping the game plan.
STEP 2
Data Capture
The data capturing phase incorporates the industry leading technology to administer the correct diagnosis.
STEP 3
Establish and Execute Game Plan
Based off the initial interview and data capture, we can now establish the game plan. During the execution phase, it is very important to not only know what to practice, but how to practice it. I will help establish structured practice plans and teach you how to practice properly.
STEP 4
Evaluate Results
Ultimately the goal is to see results and lasting improvement occurs over the course of time. The evaluation phase allows us to either continue on the path we are currently on or slightly alter the game plan in order to achieve the desired results.
There are 4 “PILLARS” that exist in order to play better golf--Better Technique, Club Fitting, Physical Fitness and Mental Conditioning. In my opinion, these pillars are the foundation to lasting improvement. Every lesson plan will focus on one or more of these. Together we will establish a “process” on what to do and how to do it so you can play better golf.
